Poetry – John Killick

John has worked with people with dementia for the last 20 years as a writer in residence and having published five books and many book chapters and papers. He has worked as mentor for several dementia projects in Herefordshire and established the project model as past of the In The Pink Project. John has spoken and given many workshops worldwide and also broadcast on the subject of communication on BBC3, 4 and the World Service.

Dance – Diane Amans

 

Diane is one of the leading practitioners in community dance and has over 35 years experience leading dance activities. She has worked as a dance artist and and artist director for 15 years in the UK and Europe. Her textbooks, An Introduction to Community Dance Practice and Age and Dancing: Older People and Community Dance are set texts on undergraduate community dance programmes in the UK, Europe and the United States. Diane currently works as a dance artist and a lecturer and consultant.

 

Drama – Liz Postlethwaite

Liz has extensive experience developing and delivering creative projects in community settings. Her work focuses on making inventive and creative theatre experiences that tell stories which reflect the world around us and help us understand it better. Liz has been working with older people since 200 and this has now formed a key part of her creative practice.
