Length: 30 – 60 minutes
Overview: Imprint curious objects into icing that can then decorate a cake.
Materials: Ready to roll icing, rolling pin, icing sugar, food colouring, cling film, cake, objects to press in – coins, small ornaments, stencils, doilies, etc.
How: Warm the icing in your hands. Sprinkle icing sugar onto a clean surface to roll icing out. Cover objects with cling film before pressing them into the icing. Coloured icing or food colouring can be used to add colour. Put icing on cake. Get the kettle on, it’s time for tea and cake!
